Why Attend This Masterclass

Initial root canal therapy doesn’t always result in healing due to various factors. Retreatments can also fail if the underlying causes are not addressed. Accurate diagnosis is essential, as inadequate disinfection of the root canal can lead to non-healing, particularly when linked to odontogenic issues.

Bacteria may persist following initial treatment, especially in hard-to-reach areas. Factors contributing to treatment failure include misdiagnosis, insufficient isolation, inadequate cleaning, shaping, irrigation, and incomplete obturation. Iatrogenic accidents, such as separated instruments and ledge formation, can also impede proper disinfection of the canal system.

In retreatment, mishaps that can adversely impact treatment outcomes must be properly managed. This two-day masterclass will focus on effective management strategies for non-healing cases, providing hands-on experience and practical insights.
