Dr. Wagih Tarek

BDS, MSC, PHD

In 2008, Dr. Wagih graduated with honors from the Faculty of Dentistry at Cairo University, ranking 7th out of 550 students.

He was enrolled as a resident in the Root Canal Department of Cairo University in 2009 and finished his Master’s degree with research on endodontic rotary files in 2014.

Since 2014, Dr. Wagih has been an international lecturer and speaker, presenting in various cities all over the world including Dubai, Shanghai, Beijing, Jakarta, Nairobi, Casablanca, Istanbul, Marrakesh, Agadir, Beirut, Tripoli, Baghdad, Cairo, etc.

In 2019, Dr. Wagih was one of the co-founders of Terauchi Endo Institute in Tokyo, Japan and has been assigned as the executive director of the institute to date. His efforts in providing the endodontic community with state-of-the-art education as well as participating in the RnD of new innovative armamentariums are well recognized.

In 2020, he defended with distinction his doctoral thesis in the field of regenerative endodontics and tissue engineering, and in 2021, was assigned as the head of the postgraduate endodontic clinic.

Dr. Wagih is a Key Opinion Leader for several renowned companies in the field of endodontics, such as FKG Dentaire (Switzerland), CJ-Optik (Germany), Woodpecker (China), Zumax (China), Denco (China). He is the author of several articles in the field of endodontics, and has been recognized as a top-downloaded author in the International Endodontic Journal with the famous article about broken file management.

In 2022, Dr. Wagih launched his own rotary endodontic file brand under the name of GLYDO and is now selling in the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Egypt, Iran, and Turkey.

In 2023, he launched and organized a series of events with top speakers from all over the world. The first event was TEI by the Pyramids at the base of the great pyramids in Egypt, and the second event was ROOTSCON at the Museum of the Future in Dubai with a plan to do the third event in VIETNAM in December 2024.

Dr. Wagih is the founder of POLYDENT clinic in Cairo, Egypt which is a multidisciplinary dental office limited to micro dentistry workflow.

Dr. Wagih had a respectful professional sports career in Handball, playing in several well-known clubs till 2018. In 2021, he founded the Maters team of Egypt till date and participated in the handball masters world club in Croatia and got the silver medal in 2023.

Dr. Kwa Zheng Kang

Dr Kwa, an aspiring general practitioner who has special interest in Endodontics (Root canal treatment.

He obtained his doctor of dental surgeon in year of 2012 from Universitas Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. In order to pursue excellence in Endodontics, he travels across multiple countries for seminars and workshops throughout the years, and obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics from Universitat Jaume I, in Spain.

His focus on Endodontics procedures includes simple to complex root canal treatment, surgical & non-surgical retreatment, vital pulp therapy, under the aid of dental microscope,

During his off clinical time, Dr Kwa actively engaged in education line as a clinical mentor for dentists throughout Malaysia.
