Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Orthodontics (UK) | Kuala Lumpur

About the Course

These modules are designed for doctors who wish to take part in the Diploma in Clinical Orthodontic certification program through the MATRICULATION pathway but have never attended training or education in the field of orthodontics before. This preparatory module is a shortened version of a total of at least 200 learning hours which should be followed through theoretical lecture sessions and practical exercises.

In this short program, doctors are only required to take part in class activities or attend online lectures for a minimum of 100 hours, and the rest must be met by self-study either through other online lectures, journals and books reading, assignments, or practical work at their own clinic.

After participating in this program, doctors still have to go through requirements, assessments, exams, and also presentations of cases that have been worked on.

Dr Ari Harsoputranto

Dr Ari lives in Bandung, Indonesia and graduated from Padjadjaran University for his DDS degree. He started his career as the head of Medical Service Director position in a hospital in Bandung. Then, Dr Ari appointed as the General Director in a Maternity Hospital in Bandung, Dr Ari stared to learn Orthodontics from some world class orthodontists. He finished his residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, and worked with Dr Derek Mahony in Sydney, Australia. Dr Ari then initiated an GP-Based orthodontic federation (IOPF) with some of his Dentists and Orthodontists friends from Asia Pacific countries, UEA and also USA. Dr Ari also one achieved his Diploma in Orthodontics from UK, attended Advanced in Clinical Orthodontics at NYU, USA and also trained as one of Insignia Doctor in Los Angeles, USA. Dr Ari was honoured as Fellow of Malaysian Orthodontic Practitioners Association. Besides doing daily practice, Dr Ari also appointed as the Program Director for Asia Pacific Countries in Diploma and Master Program of The City of London Dental School (UK) in the field of Orthodontics, Clear Aligner Therapy, and Implant Dentistry.
