Orthodontic Starter is our trademark orthodontic programme where we gathered experienced orthodontists from across Malaysia to tailor this 6-months comprehensive programme that incorporate knowledge, hands-on workshop, case discussion to help participants understand the technicality and complexity of orthodontics.

Our Experts

Dr. Ruslan Sulaiman is well known for his flair in orthodontics. He received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1984, followed by Master of Science in Orthodontics from University of London in 1995. In 1996, Dr Ruslan received his Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from Royal College Surgeons of England and Royal College Surgeons of Edinburgh. With a total of 37 years of orthodontics expererience, he has completed thousands of successful cases and conducted various workshops and lectures nationally in relation to his expertise in orthodontics. He retired from the National Head of Orthodontic Department from the Ministry of Health in 2020. Apart from that, he is also the panelist for Hadiah Latihan Persekutuan Candidates in 2018. He was also featured in Bernama Radio for orthodontics discussion. He was the chariman for Clinical Practice Guideline Anterior Crossbite (2017) and Fake Braces Guideline Committees (2020).

For more than 20 years, Dr. Reuben How has treated patients in the UK, Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore.He founded Whitesmile Clear Aligners who is creating beautiful smiles through invisible clear aligner technology. They service millions of patients throughout Asia and Oceania with orthodontic treatment and technology that is constantly more comfortable, efficient, and effective. Whitesmile Clear is South East Asia’s largest clear aligner company and leading manufacturer of customized clear aligner orthodontic appliances and service providers of aftermarket support.

Dr. Reuben was actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) until 2009 Dr. Reuben has a special interest in research, and development and has ongoing Artificial Intelligence projects for Clear Aligners in partnership with UKM. Dr. Reuben has treated over 2,500 successful orthodontic cases and placed 6,000 micro-implants.

Dr. Yeoh Chiew Kit is a registered orthodontic specialist in Malaysia. His specialties include conventional straight wire, self-ligating and clear aligner system and orthopaedics/functional therapy. Dr. Yeoh received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Malaya, followed by Master of Science from UCL Eastman Dental Institute and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, England. He completed a fellowship at craniofacial orthodontics at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan in 2017. Dr. Yeoh has been in private practice since 2015. He has also collaborated with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in research projects and is currently a part-time lecturer/clinical supervisor at UKM. He has given lectures at local and international levels including MIDEC and MAO Scientific Conference.
